Traveling Hemp Museum
Amy Fisher is a long time medical cannabis activist and founder of her Traveling Hemp Museum. She learned about the medicinal healing properties of cannabis when her late husband was stricken with ALS. After that experience, she was determined to educate people on the use of cannabis and hemp. From her travels as an activist and working with the California Cannabis and Hemp Initiative, she developed her traveling hemp museum. Its collection is a plethora of artifacts representing diverse uses of hemp for food, fuel, fiber, textiles and medicine. Amy now uses the Traveling Hemp Museum to educate communities on the benefits of cannabis for medical use, and the historical industrial uses of hemp.
