Crypto Cannabis Club
Jimmy Fitzpatrick is a co-Founder of the Crypto Cannabis Club. This is a collection of 10k NFToker avatars who spend their days chilling on the ETH blockchain. NFTokers’ utility include the ability to breed and sell cannabis plant NFTs on secondary markets, compete in crypto cannabis cup competitions, and passively earn by going to work in the greenhouse (aka staking). NFTs (Non Fungible Tokens”) are a special kind of cryptoasset. Each token is unique , opposed to “fungible” assets like Bitcoin and dollar bills. Since every NFT is unique, they are used to authenticate ownership of digital assets, such as, artworks, recordings, and virtual real estate and more. The NFTs created by the Club offer holders benefits to assets throughout the cannabis industry. These include discounts to some CBD lines, merchandise, accessories and more. The Club is building partnerships in this venture which offer commercial rights and seemingly endless possibilities. Here, the virtual world becomes grounded with cannabis and doesn’t go up in smoke because of its innovative connection to the tangible. This is a unique and innovative story with opportunities.

Minorities for Medical Marijuana
Dr. Lance McCarthy works as a board advisor for Minorities for Medical Marijuana, Inc. M4MM is a non profit organization with its corporate office based in Orlando Florida. It was established to focus on on providing advocacy, outreach, research, and training as it relates to the business, social reform, public policy, and health /wellness in the cannabis industry. They actively connect people to opportunities in the marijuana industry for minorities. The difficulty in the industry has always been the lack of access to capital, even when one has the skill set and is able to work in the industry. M4MM is backed by many corporate donors as it facilitates progress and change, but disparities in the legal system and other challenges reveal how we need to make more inroads to open doors. Government support happens on the state level, not federal, but many states give extra benefits to those who have a social equity or minority partner in their application. Knowing the playing field and catting through the red tape help reveal opportunities that many do not know exist. That is where M4MM clears the smoke.

The Aphria-Tilray Merger that Created the World’s Largest Cannabis Company!
Irwin Simon is Chairman & CEO @ Aphria Inc., Executive Chairman of Whole Earth Brands, Inc., and, Presiding Director of MDC Partners Inc. He joins host America’s Cannabis Conversation to discuss the recent, colossal merger of two of the biggest marijuana companies in Canada, Tilray and Aphria. In so doing, they created the largest cannabis company in the world. It operates with the ‘Tilray name with combined assets of $3.9 billion, and trade under the “TLRY” ticker on Nasdaq. These merging companies had already marketed to Canada and Europe before the merger, and now, as a new super company, it is targeting the largest marijuana consumption market in the world, the United States. In order for the export to the US, however, federal laws that prohibit cannabis must change. Prospects for that look favorable under the current presidential administration. Mr. Simon talks with W420 Radio about how this came about and what it means to consumers. Hear from the top, how they got on top, and how this rapidly expanding market is still changing.
