Aundre Speciale is Founder/Owner, CBCB (Cannabis Buyers Club of Berkeley), the oldest in Berkeley.  In 1996 a handful of determined rebels acted on a dream safe legal cannabis for all people. With no more than a phone list full of the best farmers in Northern California, they set up operations at an anarchist bookstore.  They teamed up with local like-minded citizens and worked to create the propositions that made the plant available to medical patients. Eventually, they grew into the CBCB that exists today.  Aundre tells of of this pioneering story.

Hemp Animal Feed

Michael Kleinhenz DVM, PhD is the Assistant Professor/Beef Production Medicine at Kansas State University.  His work revealed that hemp provides a good feed stock for dairy cattle and other animals.  He published a study that he conducted on the use of cannabis in agriculture and animals.  This study was the result of careful research on how cannabis feed is absorbed into the blood stream and the beneficial effects it has on animals.  This industrial use of hemp has proven to be low cost with surprisingly good effects in new and useful ways.
