How Consumer Intelligence Data Levels the Market Playing Field
John Kagia joins us from New Frontier Data where he works as the Chief Knowledge Officer. The aspect of gathering consumer data has barely been broached in the cannabis industry because it is such a young industry. Yet, doing so allows one to analyze the trends that have clearly formed. Analyzing trends now is vital for this burgeoning industry that was already showing volatility before the advent of COVID. New Frontier Data specializes in research and intelligence which put them at the forefront when they saw the need for gathering data here. Equipped with years of data, they developed a unique understanding of where this past decade has brought us and how we can look ahead. This is important to all aspects of the business because it allows one to respond to the market instead of just reacting to it. Mr. Kagia shares this brilliant process with us, and he tells us what it can mean.

The Future of Dispensaries
Michael J. Regan & Colin-Ferrian join us from MJResearchCo which conducts investment analysis and valuation of the cannabis industry. Prior to the pandemic, the model used for building a dispensary was the Apple store. Depending on the size of sophistication of these dispensaries, one could spend anywhere from one half million to a million dollars on construction. However, in the pandemic, cannabis was determined to be an essential product in some areas, so buying methods and delivery systems of cannabis suddenly changed. Home delivery quickly became a huge business in California and Colorado. Other states may follow. They may also develop online purchasing and drone delivery. What does this mean for the brick and mortar store and conventional dispensaries?
