Cannabis Law Changes
Morgan Fox of the National Cannabis Industry Association talks about current legislation, and regulation of cannabis laws. Illinois recently allowed recreational use, it permits home cultivation, and it can expunge records of those convicted of amounts that are now legal. Revenue projections for Illinois have reached 2 1/2 billion dollars. Colorado announced they surpassed 1 billion dollars in the last year which is double what is was a couple of years ago. Mr. Fox also talks about the SAFE Banking bill before Congress regarding banking laws as they relate to cannabis.
